2021 AGM and Board Nominations
The 2021 IAEH AGM will take place virtually on 15th June 2021 at 12pm British Summer Time (BST). IAEH is actively seeking individuals interested in serving on its Board of Directors, to ensure a broad cross section of members are represented on the Board. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting an online nomination on, or before 31st May 2021 at 8pm BST.
Due to travel restrictions still in place in most countries, the IAEH will host its AGM via Zoom replicating last year’s successful format.
Members should register in advance to join the Zoom meeting on 15th June at 12 noon (BST)
AGM Programme
The 2021 IAEH AGM programme includes keynote presentations by ASOIF‘s Executive Director Andrew Ryan and New Zealand Major Events’ Manager and IAEH Chair Susan Sawbridge. The speakers will present on different topics but will also introduce the MoU signed by IAEH and ASOIF to jointly endorse recommendations, guidance and tools to help their members implement common event impact measurement.
IAEH members will have the opportunity to engage in group discussions about major events in 2021 and beyond moderated by IAEH directors.
Call for nominations
As part of the AGM proceedings, members will vote and approve the group of directors that will serve in 2021-2022.
The IAEH Board of Directors is formed of volunteers who act to further the organisation’s objectives. The board is open to any qualified member willing to act. The nominations process is now open and members are encouraged to apply through this form on, or before 31st May 2021 at 8pm BST.
Being on the Board gives you a much greater insight into the needs and wants of event hosts globally, and gives you the opportunity to shape the future direction of the IAEH.
