Every year, the International Association of Event Hosts promotes meetings of members in different locations across the globe. The objective of those meetings is to offer members a private space to share knowledge and learn from each others’ experiences in hosting major events.

The biggest and most important meeting is the IAEH Annual Forum which, in 2018, will take place alongside SportAccord, in Bangkok, Thailand, on Thursday, April 19th.

The programme includes a members-only general meeting, where members will discuss and vote on relevant matters to the management of the IAEH, receive updates on current activities, new members and projects, and learn from presentations covering some of the IAEH nine key areas of interest.

Following the members-only session, prospective members and representatives of relevant like-minded industry organisations will be welcome to participate in an open networking session. They will be able to meet our members and learn more about our work in sharing knowledge, fostering best practices and representing the interests of cities, regions and countries that host major events.

The members-only meeting will start at 2 pm, and non-members are invited to join the open session at 5pm.All 2018 IAEH Annual Forum’s activities will be finished by 7 pm, in time for delegates to attend the SportAccord closing ceremony.

Representatives of member organisations have been formally invited and will receive a detailed agenda soon. Details of the location of the non-member networking session will be published soon and anyone interested in attending should contact Olga Correia (olga@eventhosts.org) to register interest.
